For ages 10-15.
Get out of your heads and on your feet! In this 7 week class, we’ll learn the fundamentals of comedy improv, focusing on short-form improv games. Kids will work on building their skills on stage collectively and individually as part of an ensemble.
This class is for budding comedians, thespians, satirists, comedy writers, and anyone who wants to build confidence, learn collaboration, and grow your creativity!
Most importantly, we’ll have a lot of fun, and laugh A LOT.
(All COVID protocols will be followed, and most classes will be held outside in the Wilder Arts patio, weather permitting.)

Lauren Antler is a comedian, writer and arts administrator . She has been an improviser since she learned of the existence of improv at 13 years old. After founding an improv group at Barnard College where she got her BA, Lauren was a writer, performer and producer of the Columbia Varsity Show. She was an NYC-based comedian who did improv, sketch comedy and stand-up who trained at Second City, NYC. She was a member of the NYC sketch comedy group, The Royal We, whose shows, "Does This War Make Me Look Fat?" and "Be All That You Can Buy," were performed all over the country before landing a pilot for TVLAND. Her duo show with her mother "What to Wear When You're Fighting the Patriarchy: Lessons From the Daughter of a Jewish Feminist" was performed at universities around the country.) Lauren worked as a producer at MTV and Nickelodeon, the Howard Stern Show and the Oxygen Network and was the Special Assistant to the American Repertory Theater’s (A.R.T. in Cambridge, MA) Executive Director, Diane Paulus and was most recently the Director of External Relations at Circus Smirkus.
Lauren lives in Montpelier with her daughter and husband, two dogs and a cat who lives in the linen closet.
