A special community hang and sewing class for all the beginners out there. We see you, and we want you to finally learn how to sew!

Join us for a two week workshop, where you’ll get to make your own market tote. It’s perfect for trips to the farmer’s market, the Co-op or Shaw’s, your next downtown shopping trip, or off to a picnic. (Actually, we think it’s cute enough just to carry around all the time, for any occasion.)

In the process, you’ll learn the basics of sewing and how to customize projects to suit your own wants and needs. Choose any fabric from our fabric wall for free, or bring in your own (about 3/4yd). We’ll start with our own basic pattern, or you can bring in your own beloved market tote and we’ll show you how to copy it. We can do this, y’all.

We’ll have tea and coffee for sipping while you create, or you can bring in your own spirited drinks. Invite a friend and you’ll both get a $5 discount when you both register! (Enter your friend’s name and use the code SewingBuddies at checkout.)
