Beginnner's Woodworking: The (Not So Classic) Peg Rail

$45.00

For anyone out there who has always wanted to learn how to safely use miter saws, power tools, and create with wood, this is the class for you!

Join us for this two-week workshop, where you’ll get to design and build your own peg rail. Peg rails are perfect for mudrooms, kitchens, or garages and can hold anything from jackets or kitchen towels, to garden shovels and skis. You’ll have the choice of making your peg rail with modern trapezoidal hooks (as in the photo), classic dowel rods, or even cut copper pegs.

Local woodworker Sam Kelman will be leading the workshop, teaching all of us the basics of woodworking and how to customize designs to suit your needs. (If you already have a location chosen for your peg rail, bring in your home measurements for a truly customized fit.)

We’ll have tea and coffee for sipping while you create, or you can bring in your own spirited drinks. Invite a friend and you’ll both get a $5 discount when you both register! (Enter your friend’s name and use the code CraftNight at checkout.)
