The Pottery Workshop: Bowls!

$55.00
Sold Out

Whether you’re new to pottery or just want to hang out with some friends and make pretty, useful things, this class is for you! We’ll be crafting our very own small to medium-sized bowls, ideal for everyday use.

In this two-week workshop, local potter and artist Alexi High is guiding us on the art of hand-building pottery. The first session will introduce you to hand-building techniques, then during the week, the bowls will be fired in preparation for the next session. In the second session, we will delve into various methods for decorating and glazing your bowls to make something uniquely yours. After a final firing, students will be able to pick up their completed bowls at the studio.

Depending on your needs, you’ll be able to craft bowls to use as catchalls on your nightstand, or maybe a dish for holding a sponge. You could also use them for serving party snacks or as party of a more elaborate cheese board spread. If you come to class with a specific need in mind, we’ll work with you to create something truly beautiful and exactly what you wanted.

This event is BYOB. We’ll have a selection of teas; folks should feel free to bring in their own spirited drinks to sip and share.

Craft with friends! If you and your friends sign up, tell us your friends’ names and use the code CraftNight at checkout to each receive $5 off.
